News: Man Of FAITH starts Record Label, Signs his first artist's

Faith In Action Records is a label venture from Hip Hop Artist Man Of FAITH. "After closely studying the music buisness for years and recognizing what it takes to make it in this buisness I just wanted to give other artist's the chance I have to reach the world through music." FIA (short for Faith In Action) Records has stepped onto the scence with one main stragedy and goal in mind, to spread the gospel through relavent and mainstream music. The first signee from FIA Records came form Man of FAITH's protege and featured rapper on the hit single Comeback Kid, Giant Killa. Second signee came from upcoming pop artist Wake who's new single Call On Me featuring Man Of FAITH is making a BIG splash all over the internet. "Building the team was easy for me, I know talent when I see it and I'm blessed to be connected with amazing artist's who share the same vision as I do in music." The 5th Annual Urban Inspirational Awards went down this weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina and let me tell you, it was Fire! The event popped off on Friday the 29th of April with an Artist Mixer & Showcase. The talent & the anointing in the room was no ordinary thing. Music genres varied from Hip Hop, Gospel, Rock & Contemporary Christian. Artists from all over the USA and even Canada traveled their long ways to be apart of this. The Showcase was hosted by Hip Hop Legend B.B. Jay which brought the energy and set the event to a high level. With DJ Network on the spin their was never a dull moment cause the music was on point! The Show started with Overthrown Dancecrew blazing the stage, then artists such as myself (Man Of FAITH), Nu Purpose, Shanae St.Louis, and many more took to the stage and set the atmosphere on Friday for the next day. Saturday April 30th was the official date for the Award Show. In the morning a Worskshop was given to artists with key points about how to manage your business in ministry and the music industry.Red Carpet & Interviews with the artists and performers began and the event was off to a great start. Media outlets such as Planetsaved.com, Block Talk Radio Show, Prayzefest Gospel hour and many more covered the event. Again the music reached all genres. Artists such as B.B. Jay, Keisha Dream, True Witness, Nicole Michelle, El Shaadai & Hood, Karmyn, Nicois, DPB, and many more brought the house down! Awards were given out to artists and Recognition was given to people who deserved so. To say the least the weekend was a huge success and I want to recognize Hood & his team for pulling this event off, and Also New Covenant Bibleway Church in Charlotte for hosting this event. One Uth Under God hosted a talent show competition event, and the talent was packed! From Singing, Dancing, Rapping, even martial arts, the talent from begining to end was off the charts! I was blessed to place in the top 3 with so much talent but regardless everyone who performed was a winner.

God bless fam, just wanted to give u guys an update on what ive bine doing lately. I am officialy 7 songs into the album "Perfect Timing"and im truly blown away by Gods grace in giving me these songs for his glory. This will be a total turn for the better muscially than what youve heard from me before, im trying a new mixture of genres that i havent done before but it coming out great. My goal is to inspire, minister and at the same time make songs you can have a great time listening to. The recording process has not yet started, Im waiting to be done with the writing than to jump in the studio. My desire is to have my first single out by November of this year which I have chosen it will be "Kingdom Come" a song I wrote about the state of this world and the return of our King, im really excited about it. I have a photoshoot planned for next month God willing so I can finnaly start the promotion and advertising. My mixtape will also be out soon, i thought i could have it to you guys earlier this month but things came up but still its coming soon "Fresh Face Mixtape" the first single "Headed Out Tonight" is up now so I hope your enjoying it in the meentime. Well ill keep you guys posted as time goes by I thank you all for the support and ask for your prayers for this project!

This album is called "Perfect Timing" and I want it to be exactlly that so Ive picked a date which Janurary 4th 2011 is what Im shooting for. It will be the first week of the year which means that I will have a long enough time to promote and I want to have enough time to perfect this project. So be on the lookout as soon as 2011 comes so does "Perfect Timing". Dont worry though I will be putting out a mixtape call "Fresh Face" which will include the songs that dont make the album maybe in just a few weeks so you guys wont have to wait too long for new music from me .
